The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is responsible for the administration of education in Pakistan at the federal level. It was established in 1974 under the Ministry of Education, which is currently headed by the Federal Minister of Education. Every Pakistani can apply for FDE Jobs because these are federal.
The FDE is responsible for formulating educational policies, regulating private schools and colleges, and managing the affairs of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). It also provides support to the armed forces and the federal government’s education institutions.
